OCR: Tracing TIFF images You can trace TIFF image manually with one or more of the freeform tools you can use the tracing tool to trace automatically When automatically tracing grayscale TIFE image you'll have better results if you convert the image to black and white first to increase the contrast. To trace a gray rscale TIFE image automatically: Select the grayscale TIFF image Choose "Element info from the Element menu. Click "Black and white' in the "Image" dialog box, and then click Select the tracing tool.
